Your responsabilities

You’ll lead the Systems & Avionics Engineering team, playing an active role in the continuing airworthiness management and the technical follow up for the aircrafts supported by Sabena Aerospace Engineering. (B737CG, B737NG, B737MAX, B747, B757, A320, A330, A340, ERJ190, CRJ900)

4  Reporting to the Director of Engineering

4  You’re active on all levels of Avionics and Systems Engineering

4  Managing and coaching the team Avionics and Systems Engineers

4  Analyse and follow-up the aircraft Part-M Continuing Airworthiness (Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Maintenance Programs, EASA/FAA regulation, …)

4  Analyse operational interruptions and recurrent defects to improve the operational reliability

4  Provide technical support to Part-145 Line, Light & Base Maintenance

4  Liaison with manufacturer on technical issues

4  Follow EASA/FAA/TCAA/NAA technology evolutions on Avionics Programs to meet the operational requirements of the different operators

4  Assist in future required Avionics projects & liaison with Part21 DOA Programs

4  Discuss technical topics with EASA, aircraft manufacturer (Airbus, Boeing, …) & different OEM’s

Your profile

4  You preferably have a Master/Bachelor degree in aeronautics or equivalent through experience

4  Professional experience in Avionics is a must

4  You have good knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145 regulations

4  You are fluent in English and have good knowledge of French/Dutch

4  You have a good knowledge of Microsoft office applications

4  Dynamic , flexible & Team-player

4  You have excellent communication skills and can coordinate a team

4  You lead by example, motivate your team members and make them grow

4  Professional and accurate

4  You have a “hands-on” and “can-do” attitude
